As an internationally traveling musician, the music of Sasha Yates involves the collaboration of professionals that span the globe with a full production team located in Nicaragua, co-writers in the United States, and instrumentalists in Europe. Sasha is primarily located in Montenegro, along the sparkling coast of the Adriatic Sea. This location forms a crossroad of different cultures and is an excellent representation for which the company stands.

HISTORY

After graduating from Berklee College of Music with a Bachelor’s of Music degree, Sasha Yates worked in Honolulu and Los Angeles as an audio engineer. She soon realized she wanted to work on her own songwriting projects, rather than overseeing other artists’ albums. She decided to move back to Honolulu, where she performed in two bands with the hope of performing her own music. But the Waikiki-tourist circuit was mostly interested in covers and she still felt restricted in expressing herself creatively through songwriting. It was at this point that she needed a life reset and decided to leave Hawaii and travel the world. The current iteration of Sasha Yates Music came about from her experiences with songwriting, music recording, traveling, content creation, video editing, online marketing, and collaborating with other musicians she’s met in her journeys. It was after meeting producer and musician Mario Sacasa and recording engineer Victor Marin in 2021, that a creative team was formed that could make all this happen and Sasha Yates Music was officially born.
